Lighthouse Deaf Baptist Church, Seattle, WA

Pastor Les Leckron has been pastor to the Deaf since 1997. He learned American Sign Language in his home church, Fundamental Baptist Church, (renamed to Coast Hills Baptist Church) under the leadership of Pastor Silva in Santa Maria, CA in November 1987. Then 3 months later, God called Pastor Les to work with the Deaf in February 1988. He attended Trinity Baptist College where he obtained a Bachelors degree in church ministry specializing as a Pastor to the Deaf.

In August of 1997, he and his family relocated to Tacoma,WA after answering the call of God to take over a Deaf ministry. He maintained the Deaf ministry at Faith Baptist Church, Tacoma, WA from 1997 to 2008 while under the leadership of Pastor Smith. Then in May of 2008, God called him to established the Lighthouse Deaf Baptist Church in Seattle, WA where the ministry has seen over 20 Deaf saved since her birth.

Pastor Les Leckron holds an NIC (National Interpreters Certification) and currently interprets for the Deaf in the Puget Sound. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Melissa Leckron for over 24 years. They have 5 children, Matthew 23, Martha 21, Marla 20, Marsha 17, and Mark 11.
