Deaf Bible Study

One of our prominent outreach ministries is our Deaf Bible Study held each Wednesday night at 7:00PM at Pastor's home and on Saturday afternoon at 1:00PM in one of our Deaf family homes. The Wednesday night Bible study is for the Deaf who reside in the south Puget Sound area while the Saturday Bible study is for the Seattle and north Puget Sound Deaf. Our Pastor teaches the Word of God in a more personal and comprehensive study so our Deaf can have a much better and richer understanding of word meanings, Biblical customs, historical aspects of scriptures, and Biblical principles they can apply in their lives. Then following the Bible Study, we spend a great deal of time in prayer for our ministry, our people, those who are in need of prayer, and upcoming events or needs. In addition, Pastor spends some personal time with the Deaf to go over anything they did not understand, pray with them for specific or personal needs, or simply fellowship with the group.

This works great for our ministry as a traditional Wednesday night prayer meeting and Bible Study since Lighthouse currently does not have a church building of its own to meet on Wednesday nights. Our Deaf have the opportunity to learn His Word, pray for each other, and break bread and fellowship.
